Key Responsibilities
1. Finance System Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the accounting and finance teams, addressing system-related questions and troubleshooting issues.
- Translate business and accounting needs into system requirements; configure financial systems and develop tailored reports to address evolving business demands.
- Manage the maintenance, optimization, and integration of financial tools, including NetSuite, Replicon, and Vena.
2. Finance Transformation Initiatives & Special Projects
- Contribute to strategic transformation projects that enhance financial systems, processes, and workflows while aligning with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency and system performance.
3. System Implementation Support
- Assist the EVP of Transformation in leading the implementation of new tools (e.g., Concur, CRM platforms, BI tools, legal contract systems).
- Evaluate existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend technology-driven improvements.
- Ensure seamless integration of new systems into the current infrastructure, meeting established timelines and budgets.
4. Project Management
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including planning, execution, user acceptance testing (UAT), and progress tracking.
- Effectively manage resources, timelines, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed successfully and on time.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Build strong relationships with functional stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into actionable system plans.
- Align project objectives with broader organizational goals to drive success.
6. Documentation and Communication
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for projects, processes, and systems to foster organizational learning and transparency.
- Lead project communication efforts through kick-off meetings, status updates, steering committee briefings, demos, mock signoffs, and retrospectives.
7. Reporting
- Leverage existing and new tools to create reports that analyze data by client, project type, sector, service offering, revenue, and compensation metrics.
- Automate reporting processes for intercompany projects, client profitability, utilization, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide actionable insights through ad hoc reporting as required.
8. Training and Change Management
- Identify training needs and design customized content for various stakeholder groups.
- Partner with leadership to deliver communication plans and engagement activities that drive adoption and understanding of key changes.
9. Risk Management
- Collaborate with the EVP of Finance Transformation to monitor and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Change Management, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in strategic finance transformations and technology implementations.
- Proven expertise in full-cycle finance system implementations, including analysis, design, testing, and support.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while meeting deadlines, staying within budget, and maintaining high standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced project management experience, with a proven track record of working across cross-functional teams.
- Quick adaptability to new systems, tools, and shifting priorities.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently or in a team environment.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with PR agencies or professional services firms.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite and related financial applications.
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
- Intermediate-level SQL skills.
